Lech in Austria has excellent snow conditions between December and March due to its high altitude. The ski lifts are state of the art; most are now fast chairs, and some with heated seats. The resort limits the number of skiers on the slopes, ensuring a more relaxed, enjoyable experience. Après Ski In Austria is always fun; try sipping a drink on the sunny terraces of Oberlech, then meander down to the main street. Tea dancing continues to charm at the Tannbergerhof. The little ones are also entertained in the Lech MIniclub, which looks after children aged three to five. Other resort activities include cross country skiing, snowboard park, heli-ski, toboggan-slide, helicopter rides, indoor tennis, paragliding, skating, sleigh rides and para-ski facilities. The luxury Hotel Arlberg synonymous with luxury and excellent service, continues to be a favourite with returning guests. This charming family-run hotel in the heart of Lech has 51 rooms and suites.
